TabsTabs make it possible to autmatically align several different lines or elements into columns, used for example, to simulate a table. There are two types of tabs: the default tabs and personalized tabs. Default TabsTo use the default tabs, simply press the "tabs" key on the keyboard. The cursor will then move along 1/2 inch (according to the ruler). Personlized TabsThe following tab settings are available in Abiword:
Click on the tab selector To align text, position the cursor at the beginning of the line, press the "tab" key and then type. To remove the tab, click and hold the tab selector on the ruler and move the tab out of the ruler. |
